MUNCHKIN CATS
Munchkins are cats purposely bred to carry the gene of dwarfism. They have a gene that causes the long bones in their legs to be shorter than what is considered normal.
Aside from their diminutive size, though, munchkins look similar to other felines and could be confused for kittens—except that their backs are as long as other full-grown cats. The body of a munchkin is about two-and-a-half times longer than it is tall.
